ABRACADABRA | Ricardo CID シド

A little light. Two hands. Endless imagination.

In ABRACADABRA, a simple game of shadow puppetry becomes something extraordinary. With just two hands and a little light, a magnificent blue bird appears to take flight across the wall.

The character's unmistakable gaze, mischievous expression and expressive gestures bring a sense of wonder to the scene. The monumental blue silhouette contrasts with the richly painted figure, creating a striking visual dialogue between imagination and reality.

Part of the SIN REGLAS / NO RULES collection, ABRACADABRA embodies Ricardo CID シド's distinctive visual language, SHIDO シド, where figurative neo-expressionism meets geometry, abstraction and influences from urban art, with subtle echoes of Japanese aesthetics reflected in the character's expressiveness and the strength of the brushwork.

ABRACADABRA is an original contemporary figurative painting by Ricardo CID シド, a Spanish artist based in Madrid and creator of SHIDO シド, his distinctive pictorial language rooted in figurative neo-expressionism, geometric abstraction and urban art influences.

Because imagination has no age.
