KLYBO – The Last Witness

I have painted KLYBO walking among ruins from different eras: classical columns, towers of the future, prehistoric birds and modern garbage.
The whole world he travels through seems on the verge of oblivion, but it's not empty. It still holds memories.
I wanted this scene to speak of time and what we leave behind. But also of what can bloom again. That's why, in the middle of the desert, there is a flower.
KLYBO doesn't run. He doesn't flee.
Walk.
And observe.

🧠 Artist's reflection:
This work was born from an idea that obsessed me: what if someone could walk through all the eras of humanity? Not through spectacular time travel, but simply through the remains of what we were, what we are, and what we perhaps will be.
As I painted, I felt like I was walking with him too. I didn't know if what I was seeing was the future or the past... and I liked that.
Finally, that flower appeared. I hadn't planned it. But it had to be there.

🔍 Symbolic interpretation:
KLYBO, as always, represents time, calm and a non-judgmental gaze.
I wanted to include ruins of ancient civilizations, crumbling modern buildings, recognizable trash, and a small flower.
Everything is there for a reason: to speak of destruction, but also of the persistence of life.
That flower is a decision. It's faith.

• White mask without expression: his constant identity
• Dark green suit: movement, transit, resistance
• Ochre background: heat, desolation, eternity
• Mixed architectures: Greek temple, skyscrapers, monuments
• Present details: a red can, a bottle of water
• And in the end: a flower
